Dear Friends and Sponsors,
I would like to introduce myself to you as your 2012 sponsor liaison. My goal for this year is to continue to nurture & strengthen relationships with you, our sponsors.
Without sponsors our organization, event and history wouldn’t have continued through the generations. It is because of all of you that we are keep the tradition of “competencia de vaqueros” and the history of the Santa Barbara vaquero alive.
Sponsors make the history of the rodeo possible and contribute to so many memories of Fiesta. We each have a unique experience of the rodeo. For some of us it might be winning our first buckle or holding onto that sheep the longest. For others it might be where you met your best friend or life companion. For me, it’s knowing that an organization I volunteer for creates unforgettable memories for so many people year after year.
Each year the rodeo brings a smile to my face as I see kids, young and old, working and competing alongside each other. For some this year might be their first, for others its their 30th. The Fiesta Stock Horse Show & Rodeo is unique in that it is truly a family event that the community comes together each year in support of. It brings cowboys and cowgirls, young and old, novice or professional together for a week of excitement, competition and laughter.
This is my fourth year serving as a board member and I cannot wait to be under the lights at Earl Warren Showgrounds for Fiesta! The energy, passion and unity witnessed during that week are unforgettable and will give me goose bumps every single year. I invite each of you to experience this with me this year.
For 2012, I would like to be able to offer each sponsor the customized attention and recognition that you deserve. By helping our organization to produce the rodeo, I want to make sure each of you is acknowledged with dignity and respect. I look forward to getting to know each of you and to produce the best Fiesta Stock Horse Show & Rodeo to date. Enclosed in this packet you will find a “Sponsor Acceptance” form and return envelope in which to send your reply and donation.
